Wood cold press machine is dedicated equipment designed for pressing and shaping furniture panels, wooden doors, and all types of engineered wood panels. As core mainstream woodworking machinery, it is widely deployed in the production lines of panel furniture, kitchen cabinets, interior wooden doors, customized wardrobes and other wood processing sectors.
Different from hot press machines that rely on high-temperature curing, this veneer cold bonding equipment completes solid adhesive bonding of glued workpieces entirely through cold pressing force without heating treatment. It perfectly fits multiple manufacturing processes including solid wood joint panel gluing, decorative veneer laminating, LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) forming, plywood compound pressing and more, greatly expanding the process compatibility of modern wood processing factories.

Core Advantages of Hydraulic Cold Press Equipment
Traditional mechanical presses are gradually phased out, and modern hydraulic cold press machines become the mainstream configuration for wood plants. Driven by mature hydraulic systems, the machine delivers stable output pressure with precise stepless adjustment, featuring no pressure rebound and excellent pressure holding performance. After cold pressing, wood panels gain superior flatness and high bonding strength, effectively avoiding common defects such as delamination, glue shortage and warpage.
With the popularization of automation and CNC technology, upgraded intelligent cold press machines adopt PLC control system, support multi-stage pressure setting, automatic timing pressure holding and one-button pressure relief. These intelligent optimizations greatly cut manual intervention, shorten the overall pressing cycle, simultaneously lifting production efficiency and finished product qualification rate steadily.

Working Principle
The working flow of the hydraulic cold press machine is clear and standardized, divided into three fixed stages: pre-pressing, pressure holding and pressure relief.
Place glued panels or wooden door assemblies evenly on the lower fixed platen;
Hydraulic cylinders push the upper movable platen downwards, applying preset pre-pressure to eliminate panel gaps;
Enter constant pressure holding stage: the hydraulic system locks pressure stably, allowing adhesive to fully cure under normal temperature; pressing duration ranges from 15 to 60 minutes, adjustable according to adhesive type, ambient temperature and workpiece thickness;
After the set holding time ends, the machine automatically releases pressure and lifts the upper platen, completing one full cold pressing cycle.
Multi-stage segmented pressure regulation is available on advanced models, which can flexibly adapt to varied raw materials and different gluing processes.
