The working principle of hollow particleboard production line mainly includes several key steps such as particle preparation, drying, screening, glue supply and hot pressing. The following is the detailed working principle:
Particle preparation: First, short wood such as wood and branches are sliced by drum chipper or long material chipper to obtain qualified particles. These particles are then sent to the wet particle silo for storage.
Drying and screening: The wet particles are sent to the rotor dryer for drying by a screw conveyor. The dried particles are then sent to the screening machine by a screw conveyor for screening to remove unqualified particles. The screened particles are sent to the surface and core particle silos for storage.
Glue supply: Mix paraffin emulsion and curing agent solution to prepare mixed glue. The mixed glue is applied to the particles according to the process regulations through PLC program control.
Hot pressing: The particles that have been glued are transported to a certain height through the airflow feeding device and glue is applied. After the glue is applied, the shavings fall into the extruder by gravity. When the extrusion head is pressed down to a certain height, the shavings stop entering, and the extrusion head extrudes the shavings to form a hollow structure. This process is repeated, and finally hot pressing is achieved.

Impact resistance: Because it has holes and good round compression resistance, it can withstand a pressure of 20KG per square centimeter.
Thermal insulation performance: 40mm thick hollow particleboard is equivalent to the thermal insulation effect of 300mm brick wall.
Sound insulation effect: The sound insulation effect of 40mm thick hollow particleboard can reach 28 decibels.
Flame retardant performance: It can withstand flames for 15 minutes in the experiment, which is the best performance among the boards.
Stability: The core material has a precise thickness tolerance of 0.1mm and good stability.
Environmental protection: The release of free formaldehyde reaches the E1 environmental protection standard.
These characteristics make hollow particleboard widely used in the market, such as door core materials, interior decoration wall partition materials, furniture baffles and desktop core materials, etc.
